Title: Beyond the Instrument: How Technology Changed the Way We Make Music

Music has always been made by the tools artists use to create it. From early synthesizers and electronic instruments to digital production, sampling, and experimental sound design, technology has expanded the possibilities of what music can be. In this episode, we explore how artists have moved beyond traditional instruments and started treating technology as part of the creative process. We’ll travel through early electronic music, synth-pop, ambient soundscapes, hip-hop sampling, plunderphonics, modern electronic production, and internet-based genres such as vaporwave and hyperpop. Along the way, we’ll look at how musicians use computers, recordings, and unconventional sounds to reshape the way we experience music. Whether through carefully designed electronic textures, found sounds from the environment, or digitally transformed recordings, each artist demonstrates a different way of creating and interpreting sound. Technology has opened new creative possibilities for  artists to build entire worlds from sounds that were once impossible to imagine.
