Peace peace, peace to the community of Vancity! Tonight was an incredible night. We had the honours of having Lincoln Thorne, a.k.a. Linx and Albert Saint Albert to Community, Giants, teachers and activist within the black community, come and share their experience as black men in Vancity as musicians, music, teachers, and filmmakers touching , touching on the systemic racism as well as the foundational builders of BC, who were Black such as James Douglas. They played live instruments with the saxophone and flute. It was absolutely incredible something I know I will remember!
