Ahead of British Columbia’s Local Elections on October 17th, CJSF has reached out to all candidates vying for the role of Burnaby City Councillor for an interview, giving them an opportunity to make known why they deserve the support of Burnaby residents.

During these interviews, we discuss why they decided to run for City Council, the key issues they hope to address if elected, and the experience they have that would make them fit for the role of City Councillor.

For this interview, we spoke with Burnaby City Council candidate Natalia Bember. During our conversation, she outlined some of her goals if elected, including prioritizing accessible infrastructure and creating safer communities.
