Today is The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is on this day that we  honour residential school survivors, their families, and communities, and to remember the children who never returned home. 

For the next hour, host Necole shares  the voices of Indigenous peoples in BC and across the country. 

INTERVIEWS: 

Katie McEwan, a Menbertou elder, was 12 years old when she was taken to a residential school in Shubenacadie in the 1950s. We hear her speak of her experience with a Nova Scotia residential school.

BC Culture Days Ambassador Michelle Buckholds who is also a Métis artist, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, and founder of Spirit Dot Designs chat's with Necole about her recent event on September 27th for BC Culture Days and her journey as an artist.
