Burnaby Councillor Candidate Interviews: 
Ahead of British Columbia’s Local Elections on October 17th, CJSF has reached out to all candidates vying for the role of Burnaby City Councillor for an interview, giving them an opportunity to make known why they deserve the support of Burnaby residents. During these interviews, we discuss why they decided to run for City Council, the key issues they hope to address if elected, and the experience they have that would make them fit for the role of City Councillor.

Rocky Dong: For this interview, we spoke with Burnaby City Council candidate Rocky Dong. During our conversation, some of the things he spoke about included his approach to supportive housing, and introducing a freeze on property tax increases.

Gulam Firdos: For this interview, we spoke with Burnaby City Council candidate Gulam Firdos. During our conversation, we discussed his experiences as a City Planner and how that would inform his approach to developing Burnaby if elected as a City Councillor.
