Introducing Our New Programming Coordinator/New Talk Coordinator Wanted!

We are pleased to introduce Jesse Wentzloff as CJSF 90.1 FM’s new Programming Coordinator, who will be taking on this role after Robin Eriksson, who left the position late this March.

Jesse is a long-time CJSFer, and was previously our Public Affairs & Talk Coordinator, a position he held from 2016 until this month (June 2025.) He knows the station and its programming well, and we look forward to a smooth transition into a brand-new chapter of the CJSF story!

Here's what Jesse has to say about his new role:
"Robin has left some enormous shoes to fill, and I am excited to get to work catching up on everything that’s been on hold since she left at the end of March, and to move forward into the station’s future with all of you."

Looking to connect with Jesse about our programming here at CJSF? He can now be reached by email at cjsfprog@sfu.ca, or via the Programming Department's office phone at (778) 782-4423

We're now looking for a new Public Affairs & Talk Coordinator to replace Jesse!

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of CJSF’s public affairs and talk programming, with a particular focus on under-represented voices, under-reported stories, and locally-significant ideas and issues. You will also be supporting and collaborating with CJSF’s Community Journalist(s) to produce local news content, among other responsibilities.

This is a core staff Exec position (21 hours/week; $2447/month plus health and dental benefits; and an RRSP matching benefit); for more information on the position and its application process, please refer to the job description linked here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LDl5DonD2t8PKZ5cTPWBe9OJSVnvAywu/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=107199849806759390226&rtpof=true&sd=true
