BASSNECTAR

Bassnectar’s tour hits Vancouver this Friday at the P.N.E. Forum on one of only a handful of Canadian dates.

Recording for over a decade, Bassnectar avoids the trap of other dubstep artists – repetition – by incorporating a wide variety of genres and effects in his music. The Santa-Cruz based artist’s latest album Divergent Spectrum features collaborations with everyone from ‘gypsy’ punk group Gogol Bordello to singer-songwriter Ellie Gordon. Divergent Spectrum contains all the energy of Cozza Frenzy (2009), with more polished production. ‘Divergent Spectrum’ is a must-hear for anyone craving a little innovation (and a lot of bass) in their electronic music.
