VIJF Volume 1
It's time for the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, which takes place from June 22 to July 1. There will be over 300 shows in 35 venues, of which more than 150 shows are free. Eighteen hundred musicians will descend on Vancouver for ten days and nights of great jazz, pop, funk, soul and blues music. There is something for everyone. Take in the Downtown Jazz program the first weekend or the David Lam Jazz Weekend on June 30 and July 1. Check out Canada Day at Granville Island with a full day of great jazz. Or, take in a ticketed concert at one of Vancouver's fine music venues. For information about artists and concerts, go to www.coastaljazz.ca. You won't be disappointed! This week, I'll be playing music by artists who are appearing the first week of the festival.
It's what I play!
