EVENT LISTINGS:

Open to SFU students. Soup circle gatherings are opportunities for students to build connections with the Student Learning Commons (and with each other), so that they feel more comfortable seeking support and connecting with the Student Learning Commons when they have academic questions

Here are the Fall semester dates and themes: 

Thursday October 8th, 12-2pm, the theme is “introspection” and the group will gather in the Bennett Library 

Wednesday November 4th, 12-2pm, the soup circle will also take place in the Bennett Library and the theme is “extrospection" 

Thursday November 26, 12-2pm, the bonus soup circle takes  place in the Global Student Centre (room AQ 2013) 

Monday December 7th, 12-2pm, the group will gather in room 3008 in the Bennett Library known as the "chill lounge" during exam period. The theme will be "communo-spection"

The Sorceress of Sky Serpents Book Launch

On Monday, September 28, join internationally acclaimed Haisla and Heiltsuk author Eden Robinson for a special book launch for Eden’s new book, The Sorceress of Sky Serpents. 

Registration & book pick-up starts at 6:00pm and the Event starts at  7:00pm and goes until 8:30 pm.

Tickets start at $29.05 and the event takes place at the Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre, located on the B2 level of SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts
